Question: How does this site works?
Answer:
This site is devoted to create boardgames online version.
To play you have to subscribe (it's free) giving us your e-mail address. We use your e-mail only to write you when it' your turn to move.
Games in this site are NOT realtime games. You play your move, then can do whatever you like, and when it's your turn again you'll receive a mail.

Question: Do I have to pay?
Answer:
Absolutely not! Site access is totally free. If you like these games, we only ask you to buy a copy of the original boardgame title.
You can do it from your local game store, or from some sites listed here.

Question: Why have I to receive mail from you?
Answer:
We have to inform you when it's your turn sending you an e-mail.
If you don't play, every 24 hours we send you another e-mail saying you're late.
You can avoid receiving mail, using your profile page.
After 30 days you don't play a game, if the game is in the early stage we delete it. Otherwise, your turn is lost.

Question: Can I change my personal datas?
Answer:
Yes you can, just click on your name in the top right part of a site page. The only data you can't change is your username.

Question: Can I avoid to receive mail from you?
Answer:
Yes you can. Click on your name in the top right part of a site page, and change the This site will send you an e-mail value. If you don't find it, the link is here.

Question: What happens if I don't play my move for a long time?
Answer:
If you don't play in a game where is your turn, every 24 hours we send you an e-mail saying you're late.
After 24 hours without moving when it's your turn, you won't be able anymore to create or suscribe to new games, if you have to move in an already opened game.
After 7 days you don't play a game, if the game is in the early stage we delete it.
After 15 days, the game will be hidden to all players but you.
After 30 days, your turn is lost. Every day after, since then, you'll lose another turn until you will be out of game, or you will return to play.

Question: Can I quit a game?
Answer:
Not yet. May be in the future we will implement this feature, but currently you can't.
Send us a mail if this is a big problem for you.

Answer:
You have to be polite to write a message in the forum. If someone complain with us for a message you wrote, we can change it or delete it. This is a peacefull community, and we have to preserve it.

Question: Why have I to subscribe?
Answer:
During subscription time we ask you your username, password and a valid e-mail address.
This way you are sure no one can play your move, and you will receive a mail when it's your turn to play.

Answer:
Use the forgot your password link, and we will mail it to you.

If you remember at least the e-mail you gave us, you can use the forgot your username link.
If you don't remember your name, nor your password, probably you need some rest before playing again with us.
As a last chance you can simply create a new user, but you have to give us a new username and a new valid e-mail address.

Answer:
Simply click on the pawn you choose. The pawn will change slightly and you will know it's selected.

Answer:
Simply click on the card you choose. The option button near the card will change, so you will know it's selected.

Question: Why can't I skip my first move?
Answer:
During your turn you can skip no more than 2 moves, so we decided you can't skip your first move.

Question: What have I to do to win the game?
Answer:
You have to move all your pawns on the slope. The first player who do it, win the game.

Question: I moved but the game says it's my turn again. Why?
Answer:
During your turn you have to move 3 times. You can skip 1 or 2 moves, but you have to do 1 move.
When you will complete all your 3 moves, will start next player turn.

Question: How do I move?
Answer:
Click on the pawn you choose, then on the card you wan to play, then on the Move button.
This way you can advance one of your pawn on the map till the next sign, corresponding to the played card, without pawns on it.

Question: How do I draw cards?
Answer:
Use the Move back card.
Playing this card you move a pawn back till the next space on the map with 1 or 2 pawns on
it, then draw 1 card for each pawn on it, without counting your just-arrived pawn.

Question: I'm out of cards and I can't move back! What now?
Answer:
You can always move back. If you can't do it with a pawn on the map, use the Move back card with one of your pawns on the sloop.
Playing this card you move a pawn back till the next space on the map with 1 or 2 pawns on
it, then draw 1 card for each pawn on it, without counting your just-arrived pawn.

Question: What is the "last 30 pirates moves" box?
Answer:
It's a list where you can see last 30 moves. If you see an empty move listed,
it means that player played a Skip turn card.

Question: how do you calculate the score in the statistics?
Answer:
The "Rank by number of won games" show your position depending on how much games you won.
On the other hand, in every game you can do a score from 0 to 222 points. This is calculated by adding the position number of every your pawn at the end of the game.
If You win, all your pawn will be on position 37 (the sloop), so your score will be 37*6=222 points.
The "Rank by average points in each game" divide your score by the number of played games, to have your average score value

Question: One of my game disappeared. Why?
Answer:
If a player doesn't play his move for more then 7 days, and the game
is in an early stage (not all players completed their second move), the game is deleted and
every player receive a mail explaining what happened.
Otherwise may be the game ended, so you will receive a mail giving you the arrival order, and a link where you can see the final game positions.
In some rare occasions a game may be temporary unavailable for some time. If you think this is your case,
send us a mail and we will restore it.

Question: How do I know when it's my turn?
Answer:
When it's your turn, we send you a mail. In this way you can't forget to play. In Blue Max all players moves at the same time:
when all players choose theyr moves, the turn ends and moves and combats are automatically calculated.

Question: How do I move?
Answer:
Choose a move from the Maneuver chart. Clicking on a move, you selected it, and a phantom plane show the resulting position on the map.
To confirm your move, press the Move button located inside the Your Move window.

Question: Why some moves names have brackets surrounding them?
Answer:
These are stall moves. It means that this move is done standing still on place. With a plane is impossible stay still too long, so you can't stall twice in a row.

Question: I can't move as I would like. Why?
Answer:
There are several possibilities. May be you finished your fuel, or someone destroyed your engine, so you can only choose 2S, 9L or 9R maneuver.
Otherwise may be you tried to accelerate or decelerate by more than 1: for example you cannot do a maneuver of 3 if the previous was 1 and viceversa.
Last, may be you tried to stall twice in a row, and that's impossible too.

Question: Why can't I skip my move?
Answer:
Because a plane can not skip to fly without crashing on ground .

Question: What have I to do to win the game?
Answer:
Basically you have to do more point than your opponent, and shoot down more planes than every other player.

Question: How do I shoot to the enemy?
Answer:
You have to keep an enemy plane stright ahead of you. The game engine will fire automatically when it's possible.

Question: Why the game did not ended as a tie, if I and my enemy had the same score?
Answer:
Currently is not possible to have a tie game result. If two or more players have the same score, the game engine randomly choose who is the winner.

Question: I'm stuck in a corner. What now?
Answer:
You can exit from map. If you exit from your side (left for Allies, right for German), there is no penalty. Otherwise, you lost half your points.
